How Many Invitations Should I Order?

How do I determine how many invitations I need to order?

The very first thing you need to do is finalize your guest list. Save the Dates and Invitations will be mailed to each household, not each individual guest. Assuming most guests will be couples or families, your invitation count will be about half of your guest list, plus a little more. 

Here’s an example: 300 guest count, about 175 invitations needed.

I strongly suggest getting your guest list finalized before placing your order for Save the Dates or Wedding Invitations. You may have an idea of how many people you are inviting, but there may be more guests you want to invite once you start writing names down. 

I also recommend ordering around 10 extra invitations to allow for any last minute additions or invitations lost in the mail or returned to sender.
